She loved him quietly, her heart untold,
A secret kept, a feeling bold.
She never spoke, afraid to bind,
Not wanting to burden his carefree mind.
Their bond was fragile, yet deep and sweet,
A touch, a glance, when hearts would meet.
But as time passed, the warmth did fade,
And in his eyes, her place was laid.
He found a friend, a newer face,
While she stayed quiet, lost in space.
The laughter they shared, in front of her,
Cut like a knife, as doubts would stir.
They fought, they argued, but never healed,
Her heart was breaking, her love concealed.
One day she asked, with trembling plea,
His words struck harsh: “You’re free to leave.”
The sting of betrayal, sharp and cold,
Her love was given, yet not sold.
Now trust is broken, her heart’s a scar,
Wishing she could forget who they are.
She promised herself she’d walk away,
No more words, no more delay.
But deep inside, the hurt still stays,
In silence, she carries the weight of days.
A love once pure, now left behind,
A shattered heart, a fractured mind.
She’ll never talk, never let him near,
For in his silence, she’s left with fear.
